John "Bud" Benjamin Kelcy, born Jan 01, 1864, Gonzales, Texas and died 22 Nov 1938, Idalou, Lubbock, Texas. He was the son of Cyrus Kelcy and Lucinda Mays (She was the former Mrs. Wright prior to marrying Cyrus Kelcy/Kelsey, Sr.) John married Julia Ann Lowe on Mar 10, 1882. They were the loving parents of Samuel, Halsell, Matilda and Jessie. John B. Kelcy was the younger brother of Margaret and Samuel Kelcy and 1/2 brother of Joseph Kelsey,Cyrus King Kade Kelsey,Amanda Kelsey, William Kelcy and Mary Kelcy. (The siblings spelled their last name differently depending on which marriage they were from.)
