Bio

He grew up in the Omaha area, then worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at Spearfish, S.D. He became a federal meat inspector, working in Chicago, Sioux City, Iowa, and Omaha. He retired in 1957 and he and his wife moved to the Bemidji area.
