Etta Juanita Kellum SANTA FE - Mrs. Etta Juanita Kellum went to be with her Lord and savior Thursday evening, April 15, 2004. Born December 28, 1930, in Sargent, Texas, Mrs. Kellum had been a long time resident of Santa Fe. She had been employed for over 30 years at U.T.M.B. as an EKG Technician, and was a member of Santa Fe Pentecostal Church and First Church of Pearland. She loved her grandchildren, cooking for her family, and doing things for other people. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clebron "Mose" Kellum; sisters, Wanda Lee, Hazel O'Brien, and Edith Adele Williams and her brothers, Wayne Keith and Troy Keith. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Brenda Evans of Ft. Worth, David and Janice Evans of League City, Keith and Michel Evans of Liverpool, Kenny and Angie Evans of Santa Fe, Melvin and Shari Evans of Edinburg, John and Lisa Evans of Santa Fe; daughter, Mary Callaway-Stephenson of Friendswood; brother E. J. Keith of Dayton; sisters, Shirley Moffett and husband Bobby of Cleveland, Esther Arriola of Alvin, Janice Mize of Cleveland, Faye Watson and husband Wendel of Cleveland; nineteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2004, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, 409-925-3501, with Reverend L. M. Jeane, Reverend Curtis Evans, and Reverend Ken Gurley officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Curtis Evans, David Evans, John Evans, Keith Evans, Kenny Evans, and Melvin Evans. Honorary pallbearer is Mary Callaway-Stephenson The family also wants to recognize Russ Werner for his tender love and affection and volunteer work at Friendswood Healthcare Center.
