Bio

Olga Spaniel Krysinski, 81, passed away in Dallas, Texas, on Thursday, July 25, 2013. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2013, with Rosary at 5 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2013, in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis with Father John Dick as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Olga was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late John and Mary (Krajca) Spaniel. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from St. John High School. On May 14, 1960, Olga married Don Krysinski and they made their home in Waco before moving back to Ennis in 2001. She worked for Republic National Bank, Dallas Federal Savings and Loan and the VA Medical Center of Waco before retiring in 1995. Olga was a member of the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis, Optimist Club, KJZT #16, St Mary's Women Society and the Golden Crusaders. She enjoyed gardening, painting with oil and acrylics, floral arranging, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Krysinski, on February 19, 2010;, and a brother, Raymond Spaniel. Survivors include her daughters, Donna Lynn Smith and her husband, Randy, and Rita Ann Felton and her husband, Randy, all of Richardson; grandchildren, Katie and Reyna; brothers, George Spaniel, Sr., of Telico, and Johnnie Spaniel, of Frost; sisters, Mary Zabojnik, of Ennis, and Bernice Gee, of Frost; many other relatives and friends.
