HICKMAN, NELL Age 78, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Mrs. Hickman was born April 15, 1927 in Cooper, Texas to William and Orpha Wood. She married Newton W. (Buddy) Hickman on March 27, 1948. Together, Mr. and Mrs. Hickman raised 3 sons and 1 daughter. Mrs. Hickman is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Newton W. (Buddy) Hickman; children, Doug and Debbie Hickman of Garland, Dennis and Karen Hickman. of Garland, and Debbie and Bruce Temple of Corinth; sisters, Mary Elium, Helen Seely, and Doris Hutchison, all of Pottsboro; brother, James Wood of Austin; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren Mrs. Hickman was preceded in death by her son Dana Hickman. Funeral services will be held at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel in Dallas on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at 10:00 A.M., Dallas Laurel Land 214-371-1336 Published by Dallas Morning News on Jul. 5, 2005.
