Kevin R. Gallagher, 48, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2013, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass of the Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013, in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis with Father John Dick as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Kevin was born in Frankfurt, Germany, to Milton C. and Eleanor (Miller) Gallagher. He grew up in Ennis and graduated from St. John High School. Kevin lived in Ennis, Richardson, and then back to Ennis in 2011. He worked as a computer programmer in Dallas and other areas of the United States in the computer business. Kevin worked as a fast food restaurant manager in several locations around the Ennis area. He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, SPJST, and KJT. Kevin loved to cook and enjoyed medieval renaissance history and fairies. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton C. Gallagher in 2007; and a brother, John Martin Gallagher in 2009. Survivors include his mother, Eleanor Gallagher, of Ennis; brothers, Michael Gallagher and his wife, Susanne, of Seguin, and Robert Gallagher and his wife, Jayne, of Ennis; sister, Kathleen Prachyl, of Ennis; sister-in-law, Debbie Gallagher, of Cedar Hill; five nephews; six nieces; along with ten great-nieces and nephews.
