Fort Bend Herald, June 28, 2013: A funeral service for Doris M. Eda, 83, of Needville, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Pastor Jonathan Murray will officiate the services. Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Doris was born October 4, 1929 in Needville to Joseph and Marie (Hurta) Teykl. She passed away June 27, 2013 in Wharton. She is preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Eda; parents, Joseph and Marie Teykl; brother, Harry Teykl; and sister, Ollie Krobot. Doris is survived by her children, Gerald Eda and wife, Sara, Carlene Escher and husband, Dale, Denise Vaclavik and husband, David and Dana Russell; sister, Mildred Urbanek; grandchildren, Shannon Lilley and husband, Lee, Jeremy Eda, Jonathan Eda, Jeffrey Eda, Ashley Russell, James Russell, John Vaclavik, and Emily Vaclavik; and great-grandson, Dustin Lilley; along with other relatives and friends. Pallbearers serving will be John Vaclavik, James Russell, Ronald Urbanek, Ernie Brauner, Jeremy Eda, Jonathan Eda, and Jeff Eda. Honorary pallbearers serving are Emily Vaclavik and Dustin Lilley.
