Arnold was born Oct. 10, 1926 in Pleak to John and Mary Eda. He passed away June 1, 2003 in Sugar Land. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 350 in Needville. Throughout his life, Arnold worked for different companies, including John Deere, WKM, Jefferson Lake, and finally, he retired from Texroy in Richmond. "My soul has grown restless and my body is just a shell, I have chosen to go with God, and the best that I can tell, my loved ones, friends and family will cry some tears for me, but I ask you now, do not shed another, for just let me be. "I have completed my journey and finished up my work, and I'm still with all of you, trying to ease your hurt. So flash a smile and think of me, and it will not be long, for I am just a cloud away, up here where I belong."
