Edward R Coufal was born 14 Mar 1895 on the farm in Skull Creek Township, Butler County, Nebraska, USA, the son of Carl J (Charles) Coufal (1868-1932) and Terezi F (Teresa) Stava. He married Rose M Sypal on 15 Nov 1921 in Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Dwight Village, Richardson Township, Butler County, Nebraska, USA.
