Bio

Also known by a nickname of "Chuck." Charles was a son of Oma Elmer Richards (1886-1961) & Auzia Edna Miller (1887-1964). Charles married Era Gladys Hopkins (1910) on October 2, 1928 in Lead, Lawrence Co., South Dakota. They had nine identified children. His obituary incorrectly reports he was born in Corydon, Nebraska. It was actually in Indiana. He lived at or near Belle Fourche, Butte Co., South Dakota from 1945-1958 before moving to McMinnville, Oregon.
