Rosann Szafraida Nevrity May 24, 1942 - Oct 13, 1994 Ord-Rosann Nevrivy, 52, of Ord, died Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Services will be at 2p.m. at the Ord Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Jim Warner will officiate. Burial will be in the Ord Bohemian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m. with a Christian wake service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to donor's choice. Mrs. Nevrivy was born May 24, 1942, at Shelton to Frank and Mary (Kuffel) Szafrajda. She grew up at Shelton and graduated from Shelton High School in 1960. She attended nurse's training at Lincoln. She married J.C. Patrick in 1962. While living in Grand Island she worked at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant, the Lutheran hospital and St. Francis Medical Center. She married Junior Joe Nevrivy on June 5, 1971, at Ord. They farmed near Ord and she worked at the Valley County Nursing Home in Ord until ill heath forced her to quit. Survivors include her husband, Junior Nevrivy of Ord; three sons, Frank Patrick of Elyria, Kevin Nevrivy & Bryon Nevrivy of Orr; three daughters, Rose Mulligan of Hastings, Susan Patrick of Topeka, KS., and Jolene Roettger of York; four grandchildren; her mother, Mary McLeod of Grand Island; and one brother, Darold Szafajda of Grand Island. She was preceded in death by her father.
