Bio

Thomas O. Stewart , 71, a former accountant and general manager of Fairway Motor Co., died Saturday at his home. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Tuesday in Myrtle Cemetery with Rev. Reic Riddle of the Haltom City Christian Church officiating. He played bass fiddle for the Hillbilly Ramblers for many years. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith A. Price and a grandson, David Akers. Survivors: Wife, Patricia of Haltom City; son, Thomas G. Stewart of Huntsville; daughters, and their husbands, Janet Lee and Michael Hodge of Ferris, Ruth J. and Charles Ray of Haltom City; brother and wife, Emery Lee and Nelle Stewart of Waco; special relative and his wife, Ray and JoAnn Stewart of Ennis: grandchildren, Richard, Thomas, April, Patty and Vinson; and great-grandchildren, Meleigha and Charlie.
