Bio

Funeral services were held here Monday for Estil Earl Stewart , 55, an employee of the Southern Pacific Railroad who had lived in Ennis since childhood. Stewart's body was found hanging from a tree in a pasture near Ennis Sunday. His family reported he had been in ill-health. Surviving are two sons, Thomas Owen Stewart of Ennis and Emery Lee Stewart of Dallas; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Stewart of Ennis; three brothers, Ted Stewart and Delbert Stewart of Ennis, and Ernie Stewart of Dallas, and two sisters, Mrs. Doyle Simpson of Garrett and Mrs. Odell Earnest of San Antonio.
