Bio

Herald Coaster, July 14, 1981: Funeral services for Theodor Walter Matheaus, 58, of Beasley, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's United Church of Christ in Rosenberg; with the Rev. Don Kolkmeier officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Matheaus died Sunday at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. He was a retired rancher. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Matheaus of Beasley; three sons, Elgene Matheaus of Beasley, Bengene Matheaus of Rosenberg, and Gerald Matheaus of Rosenberg; four sisters, Julia DeShazo of Rosenberg, Elsie Sydow of Richmond, Hilda Morris of Rosenberg, and Lenora Wilson of Florida; one brother, Alfred Matheaus of Newgulf; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Friends may call through noon Wednesday at Davis Funeral Home, Rosenberg.
