I do not know if he lived there for a while before he moved on to Texas with the rest of the family or if they visited and Montie was born. At any rate, the rest of the children were born in Cooper,Delta County, Texas where his mother,a brother, and 3 sisters as well as extended family lived.(The extended family included uncles and cousins which were my parents, grandparents, and great grand parents. His mother was my 2X great grandmother) They became the parents of 6 children: Ara Montgomery 1888 (M.Edward Phillip Foreman) J B 1890 Katherine (Katye)1893(M.Leslie Lee Hanna) Norman 1894 Wanless D 1898 Willie 1903-1984 He died in 1925 while either visiting or living with Katherine and was buried in Nolan County.
