Bio

Funeral services were held in Houston for O. D. Mann, former resident of Hardeman County, who died Wednesday in a Houston hospital after a prolonged illness. Survivors include his wife of the home, one brother, and two sisters. Mr. Mann was born in Hardeman County in 1889, the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Mann, early settlers in the Goodlett area. He graduated from Quanah High School in 1906, and during the ensuing years, built an outstanding reputation in the sales field in Dallas and Houston. He was married to Miss Margaret Wilson of Houston in 1925 and had made his home there since that time.
