Bio

Son of Wilbur & Velma (Carson) Rogers. Married to Alice Beran on 12-30-1950 at Ord, NE. He served as a State Senator for Dist. 41 from 1984 to 1992, was chairman of the Agriculture committee and member of the Rules, General Affairs and Revenue committees. Carson was also a member of the Valley County Board of Supervisors, the Valley County Republican committee Chairman and Valley County Hospital board member. He served on the National Livestock Board of Directors, Farm Credit Services, National Pork Council Executive Board Member, and University Chancellor Advisory Board Member. Carson was also active in the Knight of Columbus, Elks, Nebraska Pork Producers and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
