Bio

Services for Eleonora Spanhel, 92 of Little River-Academy will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Wilson Valley cemetery with the Rev. Tom Henderson officiating. She died Friday, Feb 27, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Spanhel was born in Thrall, TX where she went to school. She was a homemaker. She married Frank V. Spanhel on Nov 29, 1932 in Granger, TX. She was a member of Little River Methodist church. Her husband preceded her in death on Aug. 6, 1988 Survivors are two sons, Frank V. Spanhel Jr. of Little River and James Spanhel of Holland; two daughters Betty Sitz of Little River and Pat Ramthun of Gatesville, nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Sheffield Funeral Home in Temple. Memorials can be made to Wilson Valley Cemetery Association.
