Bio

Herald Coaster, March 11, 1975: Funeral services for Alvin Reeh, 70, of Needville, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Garmany & Co. Funeral Home Chapel in Rosenberg, with the Rev. Donald Kolkmeier officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Reeh died about 11 p.m. Monday, March 10, in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was a member of the Sons of Hermann and SPJST Lodges and St. John's United Church of Christ. He was retired and had been active in farming and ranching in Fort Bend County for many years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hilda Reeh; two sons, Ben Reeh of Richmond and E.A. Reeh of Virginia; three grandchildren, Sheri and Robyn Reeh, both of Richmond, and Scott Reeh of Virginia; one sister, Mrs. Toni Vallet of Needville; and a brother, Melvin Reeh, also of Needville. Friends may call by the Garmany & Co. Rosenberg Chapel after 5 p.m. today. The family suggests memorials be made to St. John's Church or a favorite charity.
