Herald Coaster, Tuesday, October 29, 1968: Funeral services for Mrs. Rudolph Janecka, 48, of Needville were held at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Paul Presbyterian Church in Needville with the Rev. Richard D. Avery officiating. Burial was in the Needville Public Cemetery. Mr s. Janecka died Saturday night in a Houston hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Fort Bend County, the daughter of Anton and Martha Bednarek, and was a member of the Presbyterian church. She had assisted her husband in the auto garage business for many years. Survivors include her husband, Rudolph Janecka; a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Gajevsky of Needville; two granddaughters, Cheryl and Carol Gajevsky of Needville; a brother, Theodore Bednarek of Needville; and six sisters, Mrs. Rosie Nowak of Booth, Mrs. Bill Garnoski of Sugar Land, Mrs. A.J. Bowker of McAllen, Mrs. Fritz Wooley of Baytown, Mrs. Terrell Smith of Houston and Mrs. Bert Kageler of Rosenberg. A son, Darrell Lynn Janecka, died July 4, 1952. Pallbearers were Gerald Sharp, Phillip Kageler, Ted Garnoski, Daniel Bowker, Billie Bachart, Phillip Pagel, Adolph Macha and Delano Bowker. Funeral services were under the direction of Garmany & Co. Funeral Directors of Rosenberg.
