Bio

Herald Coaster, November 24, 1986: Funeral services for Mary Babovec, 93, of Rosenberg, were Sunday at First Baptist Church in Rosenberg. Officiating the service was Dr. Howard Gates. Burial was at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Mrs. Babovec died Friday at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rosenberg. Survivors include her daughter, Lily Ruth Candler, of Rosenberg; her son, Edmund J. Babovec, of Houston; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the building fund of First Baptist Church of Rosenberg.
