Herald Coaster, August 15, 1980: Funeral services for Frank Chupik, 89, of Rosenberg, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Rosenberg Brethren Church. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Chupik died Aug. 16 at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. He was a cotton gin operator and manager for 50 years. Survivors include his daughter, Vlasta Chupik of Rosenberg; sons, Daniel Chupik, Albert Chupik, Ben Chupik, all of Rosenberg; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Babovec of Rosenberg; brothers, Willie H. Chupik of Temple. The family suggests memorials be made to the Rosenberg Brethren Church. Funeral services were under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors in Rosenberg.
