Jeffres, who is living with his cousin, Royce Jeffres, met with a painful accident on Monday that cause him to live on soup for a while. He was helping to pry a horse power(sic) out of its act bed, and a crow bar which they used slipped and struck the lad in the month, putting through the lower lip into the gums. He was brought to town and Dr. Long attended to his injured mouth. Married to and then later divorced with Glee Faye Fox (1907-1976).
