Mary (Mollie)Delia Rodgers Rouse was born in Georgia as listed 1880 census. She married Walter Roland in 1871 and had one child: Walter Cook Roland and became a widow around 1875. Mary then married John(Jay Hugh) Rouse who was also a widower and had 4 girls from his marriage with Amanda "Mandy" Jones. They were Jeanette Bell, Sarah Elizabeth, Mary Adeline, and Martha Beatrice Rouse. Having a blended family as seen in the 1880 Fannin, Texas and 1900 Collin, Texas Census, Mary Mollie and Jay Hugh had 10 more children: Jay Regarth, Della Mae, Minnie Emmer, Nolan Hugh, Charles Veston, George Lee, Myrtle A., Lillie (infant grave next to Jay Hugh), Jessie Pearl, and Shimmer Carl Rouse. After Jay Hugh's death in 1901, Mary Mollie can be seen living with family in the 1910, 1920, and 1930 Census for Garvin County, Oklahoma.
