Bio
Son of Gerhard & Katie (Gehring) Janssen. He attended District 28 school. Harold and Luella Hellbusch were united in marriage on January 19, 1944 at St. John's Lutheran Church (14 miles north). Harold was a dairy farmer his entire life, retiring in 1978. He also worked for the Platte County Highway Department in road construction for a number of years. Harold was a member of the Platte Center Fire Department, the Lions Club and Grace Lutheran Church where he had served on several boards. He enjoyed flowers, gardening, fishing, and playing cards.
