HARRY SWALLEY DIES AT ESSEX Harry Leonard Swalley, 63, passed away at his home, Monday night, following an illness of sometime. Surviving are his wife, Laura; three sisters, and two brothers: Mrs. Charles Dukeshier, and Mrs. Dic Franks, Sr., of Essex and Mrs. M. C. Brown of Omaha, Nebraska; George Swallow of Glendale, California and Alfred Elliott of Essex. Mr. Brown will come for the services as will Mrs. Dukeshire, who was called to Medford Medford, Oregon, some time ago by illness.She will drive home Thursday night. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Carson Mortuary and at 2:30 o'clock at the Presbyterian Church. Essex Independent, Essex, Iowa, Thursday, December 6, 1945, page 1
