Mildred Ester (Bolin) Sweeney married Clifford Gale Sweeney on March 3, 1939. Mildred E. Sweeney (nee Bolin), 88, of Highland, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2001. Survived by four daughters: Marie Ramsey of Highland, Wanda Pouch of Crown Point, Sandra (Larry) Shelton of Hebron and Judy (Darral) McNeiley of Highland; one brother, Morris (Thelma) Bolin of California; three sisters, Lorraine Newman of Terre Haute, Naomi (Clarence) Connors of Illinois and Bernadine (Russell) Hopkins of Richmond, IN; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Clifford, son, Larry Dean, and brother, Horace Bolin. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2001, 9 a.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Downing, Minister, officiating. Burial at Humboldt Cemetery, Humboldt, Illinois, with a graveside service at 1 p.m. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN.
