GRANBURY - Albena Ermis, 96, a homemaker, died Wednesday, March 26, 1997, at a Granbury care center. Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday at Shannon North Funeral Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Albena Ermis was born Aug. 21, 1901, in Yoakum. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church for many years. She was also a member of the altar society. She was a loving grandmother to all the children she babysat and she received a letter from the Pope re cognizing her for years of work. Survivors: Daughter, Janet Curtis of Weatherford; grandchildren, Leroy Cook of Fort Worth and Judy Lutz, Patricia Cook, James Cook, Amber Curtis and Vicki Hielman, all of Granbury; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
