Thanks to contributor #47247306; Mary (Mrs. George) Zoucha, 82, of 3009 16th St. Columbus, died Saturday at Columbus Community Hospital. Services are at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus, with Rev. Russ Monzu officiating. Burial is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation is after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Zoucha was born Nov. 17, 1901, at Platte Center, the daughter of Mike and Sophie Zoucha Sliva. She married George G. Zoucha, Jan 26, 1921, at St. Michael's Church in Tarnov. They farmed in the Tarnov and Monroe area until 1976, when they retired and moved to Columbus. Mrs. Zoucha was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and the Christian Mothers. Surviving are her husband, George, of Columbus; three daughters, Esther (Mrs. John A.) Murphy, Josephine (Mrs. Clifford) Keller and Dolores Zoucha all of Columbus, one son, Clement G. of Omaha; five sisters, Minnie(Mrs. Frank) Gonka of Columbus, Cecelia (Mrs. Charles) Vetick of Fullerton, Marcella (Mrs. Adolph) Drog of Portland, OR, Leona (Mrs. Frank) Podraza of Chicago, IL and Clara (Mrs. Joe) Koziol of Grand Island; a brother, Ray Sliva of Columbus; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
