Audra Lee "Al" Hughes, 90, long time resident of Texas, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana. Arrangements by Grace Gardens Funeral Home. He was born in Purdon, Texas, to the late William David and Martha Elizabeth Kennemore Hughes, one of 13 children. Al enlisted in the United States Navy in 1941 and he retired as a Lieutenant with 30 years of service. He married Zelma Covington in 1971. Zelma preceded him in death in 2011. He is survived by five children; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; a sister; and numerous nieces and nephews. Waco Tribune-Herald: 3/27/2013...TR5/2
