Bio
Our Heavenly Father called Missy home on April 8, 2008. Her children meant the world to her and she was the love of her husband's life. Missy was born in Waco, Texas on February 8, 1960 to Bill and Alice Mayfield. She married her high school sweetheart on February 27, 1982 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Austin, Texas. Together they have four children. Her career with Lifetouch National School Studios was something she enjoyed. Missy built many friendships there. Missy was preceded in death by her mother Alice Marie Vrba Mayfield, sister Sharri Mayfield, and niece Jamie Baird. She is survived by her husband, Willy Sikkema; children, Ryan Sikkema and wife Tammy, Wesley Sikkema, Kristin Sikkema, and Kevin Sikkema; granddaughter, Kaylee Sikkema; father, Billy Mayfield; sisters, Lori Hughes, Amy LaFuente and husband Peter; brother, Wayne Mayfield and wife Michelle; mother and step-father- in-law, Gail and John Thompson; father and step-mother-in-law, Wilfred and Delores Sikkema; brother-in-law, Dick Sikkema and wife Kathy; sister-in-law, Cheryl Shive and husband Kendall; step- brother-in-law, Jim Thompson and wife Patty; nieces, Allison Mayfield, Taylor LaFuente and Maggie Smith; nephews, Alex LaFuente, Erik Sikkema, Kyle Sikkema and Chris Thompson. Memorial services to celebrate Missy's life will held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2008 at Beck Funeral Home, Cedar Park, Texas. Arrangements under the direction of Beck Funeral Home, Cedar Park/Leander, 259-1610.
