------------------------- Newton Edward Deal, native of the Forest Grove community, Collins County, died Sept, 21 in a Dallas hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 am. Tuesday in Troy Suggs Funeral Chapel, 7623 Military Parkway, Dallas, Rev. James E. Smith, officiating, with burial in the Fitzhugh Cemetery at Forest Grove. Pallbearers are W. E. Deal, N. Deal, Jack N. Deal, Geta E., Petway, Fred I. Petway. Gene Biggs and V. C. Snider. He was born April 4, 1903, the son of Robert Edward and Lavada Fitzhugh Deal, was a member of the Christian Church. He resided at 7046 Watford Street, Dallas. Surviving are his wife, the former Ann Watts of McKinney and two sons, Jerry Edward Deal of Virginia Beach, Va., and Robert Lee Deal of San Francisco, Calif; three grandchildren; sister. Mrs. Myrtle Marie Deal Killian of Dallas and brother, Fitzhugh Deal of McKinney, He preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Beatrice Deal. McKinney Courier Gazette Monday Sept 23, 1968
