Bio

Virgil married Lennie Fay Marshall (1912-2000), daughter of Henry Marshall and Donna Crow Marshall, on Dec. 18, 1930 at Lawton, Comanche, Oklahoma. They farmed in Payne and Pottawatomie counties in Oklahoma before moving in the mid-1950s to La Grange, Illinois, where Virgil worked for the Fisher body plant near Chicago. Virgil and Fay had one child, Janice Lynn Arnett Thurston (b. 18 Dec 1942 Stillwater OK, d. 13 Feb 2016 North Port FL).
