This is more information from Mary Caye Judd Ollie May - her full name was Ollie May (Welker) Judd. She was born 1 May 1869 in Cumberland Co., IL and died 9 Jun 1944 in Texas Co., OK. She came with her parents, John Wesley and Elizabeth (Ford) Welker to Kansas when she was still a child. Ollie May married Elias W. Judd 13 Dec 1891 in Devon, Bourbon Co., KS. They had three sons, Joseph Leroy born in Nebraska, Franklin Arthur born in Kansas and a baby Walter Cecil born 30 Nov 1900 and died in 1901, probably in Kansas as the Federal Census shows them to be in Bourbon Co., Marion Twp, KS in 1900. They planned to move to California for Elias' health, and started their trip by going to Hooker, OK to visit family before they left. They planned to stay there about a month, but Elias felt so much better that then just stayed. They found a place east of Stratford, TX and lived there until they sold out to their son, Frank. They moved to Texhoma where they lived until Elias passed away in 1928. Ollie May's sister, Luella Welker Judd , was married to Elias' brother, Cyrus Scott Judd. After Luella had passed away, Ollie May and Cyrus married on 8 Aug 1933, and Ollie May moved to Hooker, OK. Ollie May's grandchildren joked that they were never sure what to call Uncle Cy after that - Uncle Cy or Grandpa. She lived there until she passed away in 1944.
