Son of Charles & Anna (Kula) Prososki. Married to Barbara G. Miller on 10-29-1924 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church located in the Krakow area of Nance County, NE. Occupation: Farmer. Died as a result of a car-train accident near Silver Creek, NE. The Columbus Telegram Monday, Feb 14th, 1972 Fullerton man car-train victim, rites Wednesday Funeral services for Thomas W. Prososki, 70, Fullerton, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic. Church, Krakow, with burial in the parish cemetery. Mr. Prososkl was pronounced dead on arrival at a Columbus hospital about 10:45 p.m. Saturday after his car and a train were in collision in Silver Creek. An autopsy was ordered in the case, but Merrick County Sheriff Dan Schneiderheinz had not received any results as of noon today. His body will lie in state after p.m. Tuesday at McKown Funeral Home in Silver Creek where rosary will he prayed at 7 p.m. by Holy Name and 8 p.m. by the family. The son of Charles and Anna Kula Prososki, he was married Dec. 29, 1901, at Krakow. He married Barbara Miller al Krakow Oct. 1934, and farmed in Polk County and at Fullerton since 1942. Survivors include children, Mmes. Joseph (Sally) Haiar of Humphrey, Steve (Rose) Yrkoski and Raymond (Doris) Tarnick of Fullerton, Gene (Patty) Koza of Silver Creek; 13 grandchildren; brother, Albin of Osceola; sisters, Mmes. Frank (Elizabeth) Zelasney of Columbus, John (Celia) Osborn of Long Beach, Calif., John (Marie) Augustine of Columbus, Mike (Ann) Ricker of Whittier, William (Evelyn) Wasson of Garden City, Kan., Lloyd (Loretla) Lausten of Grand Island and Don (Frances) Pratt of Meadow Grove. His wife died March 23, 1970, He also was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
