MRS. LYMAN C. VEAZEY On Tuesday morning of this week, Mrs. Sallie Veazey, relict of the late Lyman C. Veazey, passed into rest. But a few short weeks ago, the husband of her young womanhood and her companion for forty-nine years passed away. Her passing from life meant the re-uniting in love and affection of soul-mates parted but for a time. Her life was a beautiful one and nothing that could here be said could add to the beauty of the tribute paid Mrs. Veazey by her pastor, Rev. B. C. Land, at her funeral. Mrs. Salie Gregory Veazey was born in Tallapoosa County, Alabama, November 26th, 1851. She died January 2nd, 1923. She was 71 years. Her mother was Sarah Aria (Holden) Gregory (1826-1898).
