Bio

Daughter of Dietrich Brandt and Katherine Leibrock, who died in 1864 in Clayton County, Iowa. Mrs. August Brose died at the family home, ten miles east of Seward and about two miles east of the Stone church, in H town, on Sunday morning, August 18th. She leaves a husband and nine children, one of them a young babe, to mourn the loss of a wife and mother. Mrs. Brose was a daughter of Deidrich Brandt, and a half sister of Charles Brandt, of this city. The funeral took place yesterday at the stone church, and was largely attended.
