Bio

Father of Larry, Pete, Bob, Pam, Ann and Seleta. Husband of Lola Mae Johnson for 34 years. Jake died from cancer. He was buried at Union Baptist Cemetery and one year later reburied at New Hope Cemetery beside his father and grandfather. Managed the Biggersville Gin all of his life. When he died in 1989, the gin died also. He was a World War 11 vet, and could fix anything. ANYTHING His father Elbert built the gin on the west side of 45 hwy. at Biggersville. He was a member of Biggersville Baptist Church and a Charter Member of it. Loved his family. Died at the Veterans Hospital from Lung Cancer.
