Bio

Wade Wilson Wofford, 69 of DeRidder, LA, brother of Murphy Gill of Buna, died September 14, 1988, at Mother Francis Hospital in Henderson. Funeral services were held Septmeber 21, at Hixon Funeral Home in DeRidder with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. A longtime resident of DeRidder, he was retired from the Long Bell Lumber Company and was a veteran. Other sruvivors include his son Alfred Wofford, daughter, Virginia Dewese, Irene Murch and Josephine Ardley, all of Inglewood, CA; sisters, Bessie Garrison of Marshall, MO., Thelma Ardoin of Henderson, Nettie McMullen of DeRidder and Myram Colahagen of Los Angeles, CA; brother Rufus Johnson of Fort Worth.
