Kush, 86, of Columbus Manor and formerly of Tarnov, died suddenly Monday in Columbus Community Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Michael Catholic Church, Tarnov, with Rev. Leonard Ficenec officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Duesman Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Miss Kush was born in Tarnov Sept. 30, 1894, daughter of Joseph and Agnes Varnas Kush. She attended St. Michael School and was a lifelong Tarnov resident. She was a member of St. Ann's Alter Society and St. Michael Catholic Church. She is survived by three brothers, Frank and Stanley Kush of Columbus and Ted Kush of Loveland, Colo., and four sisters, Pauline Kush and Mrs. Al (Sophie) Schemek, both of Tarnov, Gladys Kush of Nebraska City and Mrs. Dominic (Eleanor) Gryzwa of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.--[submitted by Marge Galus Sandlier]
