Occupation: Farmer. -------------------------------------- From the web site: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ne/county/platte/vitals/vitals1985.html The Columbus Telegram, September 30, 1985 DIED KUSH--Frank Kush, 96, of 1616 11th St., Columbus, died Sunday at Bergan-Mercy Hospital in Omaha. Services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus, with Rev. Flavius Czuba officiating. Burial is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation is after 1 p.m. Tuesday at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. A 7:30 p.m. rosary will be recited Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Kush was born May 27, 1889, at Tarnov, the son of Joseph and Agnes Barnes Kush. He attended St. Michael School in Tarnov and married Anna Walahowski May 2, 1917, at St. Stanislaus Church in Valley County. Mr. Kush resided his entire life in Platte County. He was a retired farmer and member of St. Bonaventure Church. Surviving are his wife, Anna of Columbus; two sons, Andrew and Raymond, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter Bridget Harris of Los Angeles, Calif.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles of Columbus and Ted of Lakewood, Colo.; and four sisters, Pauline Kush and Sophie Shemek, both of Tarnov, Gladys Kush of Nebraska City, and Eleanor Grzwya of Omaha.
