Bio
Daughter of Charles & Katherine (Haferland) Magsamen. She attended grade school in Petersburg, Nebraska and high school in Albion, Nebraska. Catherine married Mark Herchenbach on April 10, 1945 at Sacred Heart Church in Cornlea, Nebraska. The couple lived and farmed in the Lindsay area. In 1985 Catherine moved to Columbus. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. Catherine enjoyed bowling, dancing, sporting events and restoring antique religions items. She was a member of St. Isidore Church, Christian Mothers Ten Mums Card Club and was a Meals On Wheels Volunteer.
