Emma C. Hamor ARLINGTON — Emma C. Hamor, 91, a retired school teacher died Sunday at home. Funeral: 10 a.m. today at Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington. Burial: Princeton Cemetery in Princeton, Texas. Visitation: 9 to 10 a.m. today at the church. Officiating: Rev. Jerry Mayfield. Emma C. Hamor was born Jan. 13, 1905 in Princeton, Texas. She was a member of Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington. She married George Lee Hamor on April 26, 1925, in McKinney. Survivors: Daughters, Dixie Trisler Arlington and Janet Burks of Lubbock; sons-in-law Herb Trisler of Arlington and Arthur Burks of Lubbock; brothers, O. B. Godwin of Richland, Wash., Virgil Godwin of McKinney, James Godwin of Houston, Ernest Godwin of Princeton and Marion Godwin of Richland, Wash.; sisters, Effie Cave of Oklahoma City, Okla., Ruby Rogers of McKinney and Margie Poston of Princeton; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
