Eliza Ann Robbins d. 23 Jan 1935, Park Rapids, Hubbard co., Minnesota Five children had preceded her in death, two dying in infancy. Mrs. James Jarvis Robbins, aged 83, resident of Park Rapids the past 28 years, died 23 Jan at 2:30 o'clock at the home of her son Charley of the East side, the cause of death being heart trouble with which she had been ill for the past three weeks. The grandsons Phillip Crist, Roy Robbins, Melvin Robbins and James Robbins acted as pall bearers. Eliza Ann Johnson, daughter of Jefferson Johnson and Nancy Clemmens, was born 21 Oct 1851, Monroe co, Missouri. where she spent her young life, On Aug 20, 1874 she married James J. Robbins at Unionville, Missouri. Ten children were born to the union. The family lived in Putnam co., Missouri, arriving at Park Rapids, 17 April 1906 (via Appanoose co., Iowa) where they had since made their home. She was survived by her husband, James, two daughters, Mrs. Fannie Mae Crist of Park Rapids, Minnie McNelly of California; three sons, Albert, Noah and Charley Robbins all of Park Rapids. Five children had preceded her in death, two dying in infancy. 46 grand-children and 36 grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother Dade Johnson of Lemon, Missouri. Note. Nancy Clemmons (bpbVA) b. 28 Jul 1810, Jackson co., TN - d. 21 Nov 1883, Putnam co., Missouri. m. c 1834, Jefferson Johnson,(bpbNC) b. 3 Dec 1809 TN - d. 20 May 1888, Lemons, Putnam co., Missouri. Note: Final resting place not known but many family members are buried in Greenwood Cemetery so it is likely her burial site as well.
