Son of William Greenberry Tallant and Margaret Shokley Tallant. Wed to Lucy Catherine Short. ~~~~~ John Henry Tallant Of Princeton Dies Tuesday Morning John Henry Tallant, 93, resident of Princeton for 53 years, died at his home there Tuesday after seven months illness. He was born May 21, 1873 near Hot Springs, Ark., the son of Mr. and Mrs. William G. Tallant. He was married October 17, 1894 to Miss Catherine Short. Surviving are his wife, four brothers, Andrew Tallant of Princeton; George Tallant of McKinney; Jim Tallant of Ft. Worth; Riley Tallant of St. Jo, Ark., and one sister, Mrs. Hattie Hutson, of Arvin, Calif. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Princeton Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. S. D. Lindsey and Harold Murphy, both of McKinney, with burial in Princeton Cemetery directed by Harris Funeral Home.
