Son of William Greenberry Tallant and Margaret Shokley Tallant. Wed to Mary Magdalene Leana Gilbert. ~~~~~ George Tallant Passes Away In Dallas Hospital George W. Tallant, 78 who resided at 109 South Graves Street, McKinney, died December 25 at 10 a. m. in Baylor Hospital. He was born in Arkansas April 1, 1883, the son of William G. and Margaret Shoakley Tallant. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. J. H. Kinser, Princeton; Mrs. Everett Rose, McKinney; Mrs. Walter Meuir, Route 5, McKinney; Mrs. Charles McMenamy, San Diego, Calif.; one son, John Tallant, Fort Worth; sister, Mrs. Will Hudson, Orvil, Calif.; two brothers, Andrew Tallant, Princeton and Riley Tallant, St. Jo, Ark.; 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 10:30 a. m. Wednesday in Crouch-Moore Funeral Chapel with burial in the Princeton Cemetery. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
