The Moberly Monitor Index dated 23 February 1942 Mrs. Atkins Dies At Higbee; Funeral At 2 P.M. Tomorrow HIGBEE, Feb. 23 - Mrs. Anna Dougherty Atkins died last night at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Andrews of Higbee. Mrs. Atkins would have been 98 years old next July. She was a member of the Christian Church. She is survived by the daughter, Mrs. Andrews, and a brother James Dougherty of Oklahoma. [The only brother I know still alive was Timothy] Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in Higbee by the Rev. L.Y. Keiter of Moberly. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery
