Pearl (Patterson) Tyer Pearl Patterson Tyer, 86, of Corsicana passed away Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004 at Heritage Oaks West in Corsicana. Services will be 10 a.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Peterson officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be David Wayne Garrett, Jeremy Garrett, Ron Stewart, Joey Rose, Jeffrey Tyer and Heath Gorbet. Mrs. Tyer was born March 16, 1918 in Ennis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Tyer Sr. Mrs. Tyer is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and David Garrett of Navarro Mills and Carolyn and Danny Dennis of Corsicana; stepson and wife, Norris and Jeanette Tyer Jr. of Houston; grandchildren, Jada and Joey Rose, Christi and Ron Stewart, Jeff Tyer, and Sherry and Nestor Alonso; brothers, Johnny Whiteley of Ennis and Carl Whiteley of Cisco; sister, Edna Shoemaker of Ennis; and seven great-grandchildren.
