In Memoriam ANNIE SLATER August 25, 1905 ~ June 18, 1984 Ann E. Slater, 78, Wright City, died Monday in Idabel. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church of Wright City, with the Rev. Charles Duvall officiating. Born Aug. 5, 1905 in Stevens (sic), Ark., she had resided in McCurtain County most of her life. She was a member of the Baptist church, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include three step-sons, Malcolm Slater of Savanna, Russell Slater of Wright City and Fulford Slater of New York, N.Y.; one brother, I. G. Devine of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew. Arrangements and burial in Slater Memorial Cemetery at Wright City are under direction of Norwood Funeral Home of Idabel. McCurtain Daily Gazette Tuesday, June 19, 1984 Wife of Joseph R.
