Bio

Kitsap Sun April 7, 2010 Doris joined her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 6, 2010. She was born in Wellington, Texas to Frank and Docia Null. She grew up on a farm, one of nine children. After graduating from Wellington High School, with the Class of 1943, she worked in the Pantex Bomb Factory during war time. She rode a troop train from Texas to Washington to find work but she met Ernie instead. They were married on December 15, 1944. She has been a Charter member of Westside Baptist Church since 1966 where she worked in Junior Church teaching and playing piano for the children. She will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ernest Lund. Her daughter Anita Proper (Craig), grandsons Craig Jr (Michelle) and Brandon (Brandi) and great-grandchildren Danielle, Cameron and Rylie. She was preceded in death by her son Ernest Gerald "Jerry" Lund.
